Where & How much did you get your R.Colt from??

I have just sold my car and is in the market for a R.Colt now. But in order to get the best deal around, i think its a good ideal to start up a thread like this to let everyone know where to get the best deal.

hi there .... my question is do all ralliart colts come with black headlights or have some come out with silver/crome ones...?

how come build date and compliance date difference, how many RA Colts?

I have bought a Gunmetal Ralliart Colt (On ya boys & girls at Rockhampton Tropical Mitsubishi especially Adam) Love the vehicle, got a great price too. But I am confused about the compliance plate and build date difference of 2 years, it's what is giving everyone such a good price on the vehicle but I see that some have bought back in 2006, so what is their compliance date why were all cars not complied at that time? No dealer has been able to tell me. Insurance is difficult as some companies go by build date some are prepared to go on compliance. Does anyone know just how many Ralliart colts were made in 2006 and shipped to OZ? Please follow up with any questions you have or answers!

I collected my brand new R Colt from Alan Mance Mitsubishi on Monday night.

Mitchell was the salesman guy who looked after me.

The customer service experience was absolutely excellent every step of the way.

He matched the price I was asking them to do the car for, very good price, threw in some floor mats, never pushy or rude or trying to bother with hard sell crap. A very good listener, listens to what the customer has to say and what they want, rather than telling you what you want.

I live in Canberra, so I had to fly down to pick up my car after hours (6pm). The best thing that Mitchell did for me was to drive my car to the Airport, because the dealer had closed for the day, and he met me there at 6pm in the new car. Then I just had to drop him home because he lives not too far away. Then he ran me through the car at his place, and gave us a drink and was very hospitable.

I'm just impressed because its bloody hard to get service this helpful thesedays in Australia. Reminds me a lot of some time I spent in Japan when places would pick you up from the train station and make you a coffee and place a pair of slippers in front of you when you stepped into their office.

Keep up the top work Alan Mance Mitsubishi and Mitchell in particular.

They have some cars listed on carsales.com.au from time to time, and sometimes it says they can fly you to Melbourne to pick the car up.. So definitely give them a call. The only reason I ended up doing this was because the dealer in Canberra was very rude and thought I was a time waster just trying to scab a test drive even though I had money ready to go and knew exactly what I wanted. Another classic case of someone pushy not listening to the customer and thinking his time is too valuable. The result is that customers like me will take our business elsewhere, even to another state.

Hey Guys,
Not sure if you have read your manuals but it states in there that you can get a mp3 player attachment for the factory headunit to run in AUX mode. When I went to get a service the guys were like, dont know the part number, and the parts arnt available yet etc etc.
I got them to have a look and suprise suprise its taped to the back of the factory headunit. So there you go, a free factory mp3 attachment cord for everybody !!! ( that owns a sexy new r.colt )

Just thought id share that with you all.

Has anyone upgraded the speakers in the Colt Ralliart?

I was wondering if anyone has upgraded the speakers in the Colt yet? They look like they are 5 inch front and rear. I don't mind the stereo, I am looking for better sound. Adding splits to the front, changing the rears and adding a sub.

What do you think of the new Colt Ralliart?

As Mitsubishi have just launched the sporty looking Colt Ralliart I wanted to seek people's opinion on the car.

I perceive it as a good looking compact car with decent power for its size/weight and with it is a very attractive buy at $29,990 considering it's features and its power.

ASC and TCL make a good combination along with ABS and BA.

In today's paper a reviewer made a comment that Side & Curtain airbags were absent from the car, but, it was my understanding that these are an optional extra on the Colt, and therefore the descision to have them (or not have them) is up to the purchaser.

Looks like a good car! Should sell well

Well to all you doubters out their go out and buy this month’s motor magazine The Ralliart Colt comes up trumps over the Polo GTI with Motor Magazine awarding The Ralliart Colt 1st prize in its prestige 2006 BFYB trials for sub $30,000 cars

Some interesting facts that they come up with were

0 to 100 kmph 7.4 seconds this was equal to the Ford XR5 Turbo

15.30 seconds for the standing 400m only .10 of a second slower than the XR5

Oh the Smelly shirt Polo was only able to achieve 0 to 100 kmph 7.8 & a 15.6 standing 400m despite having 1.8 litre, engine God help us if the Colt had the Mitz 1.8 twin cam turbo Yeh hooo would be the call I bet!

The Colt out did the Polo in all categories and even bet the Mazda MX5, Ford Focus XR5 and Holden’s Astra Sri now’s theirs a little pocket rocket and a real performer that has earnt its Ralliart badge
