Let's see, bought this almost 3 years ago, and it had really low K's on it.

I was a Mitsubishi mechanic at the time and had the luxury of being able to inspect and test it for 2 weeks before I made the purchase.
It felt new and drove like new. The front bar was thrashed (typical) and tyres were rooted. They were fixed quick smart.
Of the 3 years I had it 10 months it was off the road because of 2, er license 'complications'. It resided in friend's garage and also my mum's place.

Overall condition is very good. I can take photos of odd chips and scratches, but it would be better for prospective buyer to inspect first.

As a mechanic I did all the servicing and matters, but regrettably with so much time constraints, i haven't been able to spend as much time as I would like to.
So, boot tension rods are still the old ones (with spoiler type), and holes where the ralliart wing was have simple painted rubber plugs.
I managed to source a high mount TJ brake light assembly, but this has fallen off twice.
One side skirt has scrape marks (low cars don't like kerbs that jump up from nowhere). And I had a little love tap a few months ago and front bumper has cracking, not noticeable though.

That said, car has always been garaged, when I owned it anyway. It really has been cared for. Never went over 3000rpm when cold.

The car now has 65,XXX Kms. No short trips, minimal 20 minute trips or more. Premium unleaded only.

Ok well i don't have an EVO or a Ralliart Colt, but i do have a Ralliart Magna, and if it shows even a little bit of what the EVO or Colt are like they would be fantastic cars.

it's number 427
and seems ralRalliartd a good job on it as not much need for mods.
it has 19" wheels, coilovers, strutbrace. and a few other bits

Well its a shame the Ralliart Magna was built for longer.
but i do hope something happens with the 380.

Hey guy's and gal's,

first post in here, i bought a magna ralliart about a year ago in that time i've been wondering what build no. it is but i can't seem to find what i think is a sticker that says the build no. I no it's meant to be near the radiator on the chassis somewhere but i think it is missing, does anyone no how i can find this infomation out without that sticker? any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks ben

I am trying to beef it out with mitsubishi, to get my rear spoiler replaced/fixed, as i have the same problem of water leaking into it. I have heard alot of Ralliart Magna owners say that there was a recall on the spoiler.... but my local dealership says that there was not a recall. Can someone please verify this for me. thank you

Hello All

After making contact with another Ralli Art enthusiast, Phillip and discussing the possibility of forming a Ralli Art/GSR Car Club, based in South East Qld, we would like to invite prospective members to a gathering/picnic lunch to further explore this opportunity.

At this stage, we invisage that membership to this new club would include genuine Mitsubishi GSR and Ralli Art based vehicles, including import variants.

This meeting will be an opportunity to obtain feedback on prospective members interests and expectations. It will be a time to gather everybody's thoughts and ideas on how the club should/will operate and venues for future events.

The meeting will be held on Sunday 18 November 2007 at 11:00am at JC Slaughter Falls at Mount Cootha (UBD Ref. Map 158 H12). Meet in car park, BYO picnic lunch.

Phillip and I are extremely excitied about forming a Ralli Art Car Club. We hope that there are others who share our enthausiam and we invite you to join us on Sunday the 18th. There is a HSV & FPV club in every capital. I think this could be the beginning of something good, especially if MMAL could get behind it like the Holden & Ford motor companys do for there respected clubs.

Ralliart - Water In Rear Wing

Have noticed after some recent rains that I am getting water inside the rear wing of the Ralliart - can anyone advise whether this is a common problem and what the common fix is for this? Until now I still have water on it.

My question is, am I still covered with warranty? I bought my RalliArt from a dealer (not Mistu). Where should I take it to for warranty replacement? Will it be at Mitsu dealer or Holden (yes I know, it is unsual Holden is selling a Magna Ralliart but thats where I got it from so don't laugh )

Hi all, I couldn't sign up as an owner even though this car was developed by Ralliart...ah well

I have imported a late 1996 Galant VR4, with a DOHC 24v 6A13 Twin Turbo, 5 speed manual, Active Yaw Control, Trigger Mauve in colour. Only 68,000kms on the clock too!

Is Mitusbishi dragging the name "Ralli Art" through the mud?

Upon reading the News in Motor Magazine I discovered the possibility of a Lancer Evo X Ralli Art edition. I was very excited over this, what possibly could be better than a Ralli Art Edition of an Evo. However I discovered that the Ralli Art edition would be a cut-price version of the Evo sporting only 175kw, 50kw short of the Evo X.

I’d like to explain what I mean by using the example of the Nismo Z-Tuned R34 GTR Skyline. Now with out a lot of specific technical jargon it is said that this car is one of the fastest accelerating production cars ever made, thats Nismo flexing its muscles, showing us what it can do. Think of the names Nismo, TRD, Mugen, Mazdaspeed and STi, and think of what they mean to you. More power, better stability, lighter and faster. Do you think its right that the Ralli Art name should be slapped on to cars that comes no where near the status that the name reflects?

I believe the Ralli Art logo should be left to cars that exceed the top of the range car that Mistubishi produce. But that is just my opinion.

The 380 series is in desperate need of a hero version.

A Ralliart model is the shot in the arm to revitalise this series and justify the amount of work and research Mitsubishi has put into this model.

The potentail for this car is enormous given the restricted 3.8 litre and excellent dynamics and handling.

I'm a 380 VRX Series 2 owner and would seriously consider any Ralliart modifications or even experimental developments if they became available.

Last EVO Cruise of the Season

Ok guys I know the last cruise I didn't give you much time to see if you could come.
But G and Me had great day on some great roads.

Anyway the next cruise will be around early April late March.
But you decide what weekend. April 8th is Easter.
Most Votes wins of course and hopefully we get some more cars to come along.
I prefer Saturday cause it gives you a day to rest on Sunday.

Route : - Canberra to Batemans Bay then down to Merimbula then back To Cooma via the Brown Mountain Nowback to Canberra
Kilometres :- 574 Km
Description :- Everyone should know most of the roads

Route : - Canberra to Bombala then down to Merimbula then back To Cooma via the Brown Mountain then back to Canberra
Kilometres :- 532 Km
Description :- Cruise was the first one we did
Cons :- Boring Road until turn off to Bombala

Option 6
Route : - Canberra to Gundgai then to Tumut aup the Snowny Mountains down to CoomaBrown Mountain then back to Canberra
Kilometres :- 497 Km
Description :- Great Roads. Nice and tight areas and some long stretches
Cons :- The weather at top of the Mountains unpredictable

All Cruise can have slight Variations made to them

Major proble with Canberra need to drive at least 100km until some good roads.
There will be no major delays to preivous cruise due to only not have 40 odd people to organise.
But I wish at least 10 this time
